How do I customise the template responses and auto-replies using data tags?
Customising template responses and auto-replies in Inbox Pro is made easy through the "Handlebars" template language. This dynamic language allows you to insert placeholders into the content, which are then processed and replaced when the template is utilised, resulting in the creation of the final message.
You can leverage a variety of placeholders to personalise your messages:
- {{PersonTelephone}}: Enquirer's telephone number
- {{PersonEmail}}: Enquirer's email address
- {{PersonName}}: Enquirer's full name as provided in the enquiry
- {{ListingType}}: Indicates whether the enquiry is related to a "property" or a "development"
- {{NewHome}}: Boolean value, either true or false
- {{PropertyType}}: Specifies the property type, such as Residential, Land, Commercial, Farm
- {{SaleRent}}: Indicates whether the property is for Sale or Rent
- {{Status}}: Describes the property status, such as For Sale, Under Offer, etc.
- {{Address}}: Displays the address of the property
- {{AccountName}}: Full name of the PropertyPal account
- {{OrganisationName}}: Name of the organisation (excluding the branch name)
- {{BranchName}}: Branch name
- {{ContactEmail}}: Main contact email of the branch
- {{ContactTelephone}}: Main contact telephone of the branch
To ensure correct processing, enter these variables into the template exactly as presented above, enclosed in {{ and }}, without spaces or punctuation and adhere to the specified types.
At present, templates support plain text only. However, upcoming enhancements will include support for basic formatting such as bold and italics.
