Described in the Buildings of Ireland survey as
"Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, built 1782, on an L-shaped plan; single-bay (south) or two-bay (north) two-storey side elevations. Hipped fibre-cement slate roof on an L-shaped plan with concrete ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks having concrete capping supporting terracotta pots, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on slightly overhanging timber boarded eaves. Roughcast walls bellcast over rendered plinth. Segmental-headed central door opening with step threshold, bull nose-detailed timber doorcase, and concealed dressings having concave reveals framing timber boarded double doors having fanlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six (ground floor) or three-over-six (first floor) timber sash windows. Set in landscaped grounds with roughcast piers to perimeter having cut-granite shallow pyramidal capping supporting spear head-detailed cast-iron double gates."
This is an established and most sought after residential location within easy reach of Wexford Town Centre and only 2km from the Village of Piercestown with some excellent amenities including primary school, shop, church and Community Centre. Rosslare Europort is only fifteen minutes drive and the M11 to Dublin has the capital within a 90 minute journey.
Approached by a sweeping avenue which opens onto a wide gravel front the property offers mature gardens to the font and side with a stone courtyard to the rear. The remaining lands are laid out in three divisions and all in grass.
There is also the option to acquire an additional 26 acres, all with commercial forestry, planted in 2010.
A Rare Gem on the outskirts of Wexford, Drinagh Lodge offers huge potential for the astute purchaser.
