Ballindine is a village in County Mayo. It is located along the Western Railway Corridor, 6.5 km south of Claremorris.
The city of Galway is only 40 miles south of Ballindine on the N17 road and, in the other direction, Ireland West Airport Knock is only 20 mins drive, and the Marian Shrine & Basilica at Knock is 10 mins drive. Regular bus services are in operation connecting Ballindine with major towns and cities in this part of Ireland. Close to the village you find the River and the famous Castlemagarret, which is closely linked to the history of Ballindine.
