To get to Mace Pier: On the main Galway to Clifden route, take the turn signposted Carna (R340), travel on this road for 18km and continue straight into and past Carna village. Approx 3 km from Carrna village, take the left hand turn and continue for 1km. At the Y bend, take the leaning right and after 1.2km turn right again. The pier will will be located soon after on your left-hand side after the boat house.
