A SALE WITH A DIFFERENCE - Michael Flatley danced his heart out, Alan Shearer celebrated his birthday, Sir Nick Faldo has promised to return as the experience was mighty, Nathan Carter is a regular and has shot two videos for his songs, Fr Brian D'Arcy loves to visit as there is always joy and a warm ambiance ......... where else would you see such craic, high profile celebrities and an unique business opportunity when the global environment is more compatible to mankind?

As one visiting clergyman put it: ' If Heaven is like this, I'd die anytime '.

Many of the top names, past and present, in Irish Show Business have performed in The Ceili House - one of Big Tom's last gigs was hosted by Tom & Catherine - a selection of other performers include the likes of Nathan Carter, Pat McManus ( Mamma's Boy's ) along with Jim McGrath, Hugo Duncan, Gene Stewart, The Tumbling Paddies, John Farry, Johnny Gallagher of Boxty fame.

Ceili is an Irish and Scottish word meaning social gathering / social visit. The Ceili House concept was dreamt up by current owners Tom & Catherine McGowan in 2003 as a hobby. Their dream of having a ceili house turned into a reality and they have attracted patrons for weddings, parties, business and family functions from all arts and parts of the world.

The business model is simple; licensed restaurant open to business for private parties or functions upon request. Not available to the general public to call unannounced.

Indeed, The Ceili House must be right up there if someone selected a listing of ' Ireland's most unique restaurants '.

The Ceili House concept in simple terms can be summed up as basically a hobby which has developed into a business.

Lady of the House, Catherine is the widely acclaimed cook and offers a varied menu of homemade food which is always highly complimented.

The global attraction is embodied by the magnificent memorabilia displays which create eclectic surroundings and one of the world's famous race horses, Red Rum keeps a careful eye on proceedings. The vast majority of the much heralded displays have been donated.

Set at the front of a quarry, and extending to circa 2 acres in the Fermanagh Lakeland heartlands the property has a waterfall and stream during the wetter parts of the year. There is an abundance of room to expand the business capacity in terms of function rooms, add accommodation such as log cabins, glamping cabins or bubble domes. What about a large garden centre with a DIY section to complement the tea /coffee house.................. the corporate hospitability market is another prime possibility to focus on and engage. There are endless possibilities.

The Ceili House is just off the A46 Enniskillen to Donegal Road, less than ten minutes to the county town of Enniskillen and a few minutes' drive to the 5 Star Lough Erne Golf Resort and it's two Championship Golf Courses. There are many notable tourist attractions on the doorstep and there is a gaping opportunity to engage the tourism industry offering pre arranged bus trips and tours to call to The Ceili House for tea / coffee / scones or lunch, for example. There is lots of room on the circa 2 acre site for parking.

Along with The Ceili House there is a domestic three bedroom detached house. Details and pictures to follow.

Tom and Catherine have decided that it's a suitable time to pass the baton to new owners and allow someone else to enjoy the and take The Ceili House tradition and experience to the next level.

Wouldn't it be a magnificent setting to host a Vintage Car Run - tea & scones on arrival and dinner on return in the evening?
