It is a unique opportunity to restore a historical clachan`, a small cluster of cottages which were common in traditional rural landscapes. There are very few left in Northern Ireland and indeed this is the only remaining example within the Landscape Setting of this World Heritage Site which is capable of reinstatement. This is an important piece of history where a grouping of original buildings and historic layout are intact and in a prominent site on a key tourist thoroughfare.
The area has full panning permission for restoration of the four former farm workers cottages and replacement of the detached two storey house offering considerable potential for various business endeavours.
